I need egalitarianism because
It’s not okay to be a slut.

I need egalitarianism because
It’s ok for me to grab a guy’s butt.

I need egalitarianism because
Some men get raped just like me.

I need egalitarianism because
Men should look good for us to see.

I need egalitarianism because
It truly is for equal rights.

I need egalitarianism because
No discrimination is alright.

I need egalitarianism because
Girls and boys bully each other.

I need egalitarianism because
I’m the same as my big brother.

I need egalitarianism because
A man’s femininity makes him ‘weak’.

I need egalitarianism because
If a man acts ‘gay’, he’s a ‘freak’.

I need egalitarianism because
His 6-pack is his best quality.

I need egalitarianism because
Feminism is not equality.
This is in response to :devCorporateRockWhore: 's work, 'I Need Feminism'.

I really enjoy some of her other work but this particular one bugs me because most of its contents are just not true and it fails to acknowledge that only a certain percentage of men are the rapists, abusers, womanizers, misogynists, etc.

Another issue that I've had with this is when I left a comment about my thoughts. I was accused of being a 'misogynist' and 'ignorant' to how things really are. Here's the point: FEMINISM IS NOT ABOUT EQUAL RIGHTS. Look up the actual definition of feminism and then look up egalitarianism. Feminism is basically the fulfillment of equal rights by pushing for women's rights. If women's rights are pushed too far, however, there's an imbalance that leads to the misconception that feminism is 'anti-man'. When we start to believe its anti-man, it's a clear sign that an imbalance exists. Egalitarianism, however, is basically the true version of equality. It means that there is equality of all sides on any matter and it fights for ALL genders, not just men or women.

We don't need feminism, we need egalitarianism.

I prefer "Equalism;" fewer syllables, and a Legend of Korra reference. Just my preference.
